MALAWI 2010
CS team joins NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC in Malawi to film an episode of Dangerous Encounters with host, Brady Barr.
MALAWI 2010 The CS team has been asked by the DNPW(Malawi) to collar a number of elephants in the Namizimu and Tuma Forest Reserve, to monitor their movements in a bid to control human-elephant conflict. IFAW will fund the collaring operations, which will take place end of July 2010. AUGUST 2010 CS will be capturing and translocating over 600 animals from Liwonde and Lengwe National Parks to Majete Game Reserve in the ongoing restocking project for African Parks Network. A Guest Participation Program is being offered ... more on the guest program MOZAMBIQUE 2011 A mass capture of hippo is planned for translocation to Gorongosa National Park in 2011. CS is currently raising funds for the translocation of 60 hippo as part of the Gorongosa Wetland Restoration Program in Mozambique.
